Affirm or Overturn

This story was about the potential ramifications of overturning affirmative action in higher education. Given the nature of the topic and the potential for readers to be scared away, I wanted to make the page seem as approachable as possible while still giving it an academic theme, hence the school-themed photos. This was the first time I experimented extensively with using the green screen in our newsroom's podcasting area. The infographic was very fun to create, but it required a Costco pack of sticky notes, all of which are now lying around in various parts of the newsroom.
